			Senior Football Engineers Henlow F.C. Engineers Henlow F.C. were formed in 1990 and play in the Hitchin Sunday League. The Engineers play home games at Henlow Park, kicking off at 10.30am. They are currently in Division One and in season 2002/2003 reached the Divisional Cup Final. Unfortunately they lost 1-0 in front of over 350 people at Arlesey Town. Buses ran from the village to the match, making it a real village occasion. This year Steve Winch, who scored over 40 goals last season, will again captain the team. The team trains on Wednesday nights at 7pm either on Henlow Park or the new floodlit MUGA court at Henlow Middle School, depending on the time of year. Managed by Steve Worboys they play home games on Saturday afternoons, with kick off times varying between 1.30 and 2.30, depending on the time of year. Henlow F.C. are hoping to reform their reserve side in time for the start of the 2004/05 season so if anyone is interested in playing for the reserves side please feel free to contact Leighton Machin 01462 813639.
			Junior Football – Derwent Lower FC DLFC focuses on improving children’s enjoyment of the game of football. They aim to have fun, improve the children’s confidence and social skills as well as improve their physical & technical skills through the training sessions. 			Junior Football Football training takes place at Raynsford School every Saturday during term time from 9.00am to 10.30am. The charge is £1 subs that go towards costs. There are two teams entered in the Mid Beds mini-league, playing other school teams from the area. Enrolment is now being accepted for children from year one with the intention of establishing a team of under 7s to play friendly matches.
