School and group bookings in writing to: Site Co-ord, RAF Henlow. Groups and Clubs must have Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2M). Pool and Lifeguards available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and by special agreement outside these times. Charges are levied on an individual basis.

 

 

 

RAF HENLOW GYMNASIUM

Gymnasium available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and by special agreement outside these times. Groups must have a qualified instructor/coach. Charges are levied on an individual basis.

 

 

 

RAF HENLOW BOWL (10 PIN)

Block bookings £150 for 3 hours, £180 for 4 hours. Members of the public can use the facility on an invitation basis by contacting the Bowl Manager.

 

 

 

HATS

(RAF HENLOW AMATEUR THEATRICAL SOCIETY)

Enquiries: Squadron Leader Wood 01462 851515 Ext 4500.

Available for group bookings by prior arrangement. Charges levied on an individual basis. HATS meet every Wednesday evening at 8pm or as required. The Henlow Little Theatre (HALT) caters for ages 10 to 18 years and meets every Wednesday evening between 6:30pm and 8pm.

 

 

 

SIGNALS MUSEUM

Open to the public by prior agreement. Volunteers invited to assist with the running of the museum.

 

 

 

ROYAL AUXILIARY AIR FORCE (HENLOW)

3 TPW  has two main roles - UK & overseas Air Transport Security (i.e. baggage / aircraft searches / VIP / aircraft guarding); and Lines of Communication Policing (similar to traffic police but mainly on overseas deployments)

NOTE: Access Procedures are controlled by the Royal Air Force Police. As a minimum, the individual/group must be sponsored by the Club/Facility. One-off access will require sponsorship, proof of identity and Driving Licence (for vehicle pass). Regular access will require the individual to be sponsored, complete an application for Social Pass (RAF Form 7387) together with 2 colour passport photographs, and a background check to be carried out. Such regular access passes are valid for 12 months.
